Argon in beverage

It has a very high degree of purity and is present in the air in small amounts, only 0.9 percent. Argon is a noble gas, used in the food and beverage industry for its inerting properties.

In beverage, argon is used to create atmospheres with reduced oxygen

In order to store perishable or chemically oxidizable liquids longer and safely, it is necessary in the beverage industry to replace the oxygen in the bottle air with an inert atmosphere. In this process argon can be used to replace nitrogen and carbon dioxide. . For carbonated beverages, the same function is performed by CO2: carbon dioxide, in addition to adding bubbles, removes oxygen.

Argon SIAD, the purest gas since 1930

SIAD has been producing and marketing pure and ultra-pure gases such as argon since the early 1930s, when the first two research laboratories were established. Some of the processes developed by SIAD then became assets of the large national chemical industryand enabled SIAD to play a leading role nationally and internationally, specializing in the production of pure gases for laboratories and industry.
